another weekend to put down on the good side

it rained again. you will probably never in your life hear me say this again, but it rained and i was happy. we need it badly. doors are not closing, walls cracking, crap like that. dry foundation = problems later. so i was happy it rained.

since i was at the casa taking care of 2 women for part of the week last week, i missed a day of school and valuable lab and study time. i did not think that would bum me out as much as it did, but i was bummed. i was late with one online assignment, missed a lab due in calc, and was stressing to finish another 2 assignments online by d day. so needless to say part of my morning sat was spent in the computer lab trying to finish assignments.

went to mall in the afternoon to try to walk pua to sleep, fat chance there, as in it did not happen. but we tried. sat through a sales pitch in the afternoon for free airfare and hotel stay in orlando. going back to see mickey for the 3rd time. should be fun again.

rented a couple of movies and watched tv the rest of sat night. dukes of hazzard, transporter 2, into the blue. just a couple of quick notes. dukes of hazzard, while entertaining and funny to me, i was a little dissappointed that it was so offbeat from the original series. i could never imagine hearing tom wopat drop the f bomb over and over, or be disgraced that the confederate flag was waving proudly on the top of the charger. and i loved daisy as a brunette. however, you never saw titties in the series, (something that i am rather fond of,) daisy in micro mini daisy duke cut offs, and great drifting action. trasporter 2 was good. the 1st one was better as this had 2 unbelievable scenes in it. and by unbelievable, i mean you can't get past the ridiculousness of them. but a good movie nonetheless.

a key note of this one, kate nauta, who plays lola, is fantastic. a good actor, sure whatever, a thrilling performance, okay. HOT as all get out, you bet! i can't get over those freckles and the fact that most of the movie she was in her skivies and not much else. very nice.

into the blue, good movie. glad i did not pay for it at the movie, but good movie. bonus points on this one is jessica alba in a bikini that cannot quite seem to stay out of her ass. i would like to say that this was an issue, but let's not kid ourselves. but a good movie. also nice to see josh brolin as the bad guy. many right remember him as brand from 'the goonies'.

otherwise, i spent a great deal of time sitting on the bed looking at my math book, sitting on the couch looking at my math book, at the island looking at my math book, or doing something else thinking about when i can look at my math book again. i did get through quite a bit of homework, however i still have a lot to do this year.

for more addiction, check this out. i was told to beat 20 seconds, but it is difficult. click on the red box and move it around. don't touch the sides or the other boxes. the red square game.

a few more

does ferris beuler come to mind watching this?

needless to say, doom was handed to the poor donkey piñata within the next 10 seconds after this eventful miss

if you look closely, you can see...shit, you can't see anything. this was my neice and firefighter john hauling ass through his backyard on the 4 wheeler. notice how you cannot see him or anything else? that was pretty much his view right here also.

this was more of what they looked like. normally they will do about 30-45mph around the property, however, on a day like this, with the mud and the rain, they probably kicked it up a few notches. you can see 2 trees with a good lean to the left in the background. about 2 hours after this, the one in the very back fell. i felt bad for firefighter john, he likes his trees. he has like 3000 pine trees in the front yard. i think he wants to build his own lumber yard.

what a good weekend this was

good weekend. friday night was our anniversary. 5 years with that woman, along with a good 16 months with pua, 6 years with andika, and 5 with pudge, since he came with that woman. we dropped pua off down in temple and headed down to the nearest koa over in belton. to some, not a very romantic way to spend the anniversary, but to us it was perfect. chilly night, so lots of snugglin. put a movie in the portable dvd player, and with no children, it was wonderful. no more details will be given here. sorry pervs.

saturday the in-laws were celebrating caleb’s mighty fine 5th birfday. his unlucky soul was born the day before we got married. normally i would think that this would all but destroy our wedding, with all the attention now on the newest addition of the family. actually, this was far from the truth. the wedding went well, he even walked down the aisle with mommy. (we didn’t make her, long story) it will forever be the birfday parties afterwards that will ruin my anniversary. you see, if i ever decide to go somewhere to celebrate my day in the sun, i miss his. a surefire pain in the butt decision. so far, no money to go anywhere special, so not an issue, but one of these days alice, POW!!! caleb’s party was fun, lots of kids, stien’s cake, blue bell ice cream. good times. also went to cavenders and bought a new pair of boots. a new black pair of larry mahans to replace my naconas that are ancient considering they were my dad’s. hard to let them go, but dammit they hurt. saturday after the party, we drove down to waller to meet up with my sister and get to the real business at hand.

i am happy to say that we sold our van. bought it in march, sold in following january, net loss of $300 in sale and $180 in title transfer. needs new rack and pinion steering ($800,) alignment ($50,) the locks were jacked and needed a new relay probably ($50 parts and labor,) needed new weather stripping all the way around ($100,) back glass hydraulics shot ($35,) and i think fuse was out for interior lights ($.50.) all in all, i think i got my money’s worth out of it. in return, i decided to buy back my miata from my sista, and she was okay selling it back. bought it from her for what I sold it for. she replaced the battery, which i had replaced in ’04. she got a discount from auto zone seeing as the paperwork was with the car. considering she never drove the car, i did not feel to bad letting her pay for it, however i think i offered to pay for half but was denied. there was some damage to a small part on the back trying to jump start it, however, that is replaceable and i am not to worried about it for now.

needless to say, it rained like noah was in town on saturday night and sunday. it was good and bad. good because tx is in need of the drench, but bad because rain is so depressing. however, firefighter john decided to go out on the 4 wheeler. we convinced katrina to go with him. my memory card was pretty full when they went out, however i did get a couple of good photos. i will post them later. they both got drenched, but had a blast. the water was described by katrina as the kinda cold that hurts she was shivering for a good hour after her shower. we played games all weekend, did some homework, and played with pua all weekend. it was fun. i will try to post up some pictures soon, but no promises. i would like to thank all those involved in a great weekend. i would not be disappointed with many more of those.

it has started!!

school started last night. calculus III and computer essentials for this semester. i walked in and walked past the advisors office, typically a place where advising happens. i could have advised about 100 people there waiting to see an advisor that they were not going to be able to get advised. seeing as how there are like 5 advisors and the office was closing in an hour, i didn't see it happening, but hey, miracles happen. all i can say is those kids need some better preparation and forsight.

that woman and i are trying to get caught up on all of the seasons of gilmore girls. we are somewhat flying through season one right now, but at around 3.5 hrs per cd, it is taking a little bit. i hate to say it, but i love this chick show. something about the way that the 2 lead characters get along and communicate with each other, while relentlessly popping off to one another and any other helpless soul. if you have not seen the show, might be hard to understand the satire right away, however, with patience, hilarious.

well, i hope to be able to stay awake and study hard this semester. good grades come to those who practice. i need to actually try this semester and see what happens. hopefully it will not be to bad. i ordered my books today, which i pray are shipped quickly and arrive soon. i really need the lab book for my comp. class. all used, with shipping, i ended up spending like $60. much better than the $220+ that i was looking at paying. however now i have to wait for them to come in.

i bought some new tapers this weekend. they are 6g, 4g, and 2g. i don't know that i will ever go to a 2g, but if i decide to, at least i already have the tapers to do so. right now my ears are at a 6g and i am pretty happy with that, however there have been thoughts to go up in size to a 4g. we'll see. gotta get. c-ya people.

oh, the joy!

price of a pair of tickets on ebay to the rose bowl: $3000.
price for a new set of pom poms for the big game: $7.95
the look from your squad because you're cheering for the wrong team in the championship game: priceless.

you got to love a blonde with big tits and no brains. you've won 2 national championships. 34 straight games without a loss. you are practically in your own backyard. and you don't know who the hell to root for? i love girls who truly fit the cheerleader stereotype. they are so much fun and so entertaining. hook em horns!!!!

memories

School starts next week. Ready, but not. This semester is caclculus III and computer essentials. One course will push me further than I really desire to go, and the other hopefully will be a blowoff that will satisfy a credit and my loan institution. Seems I actually have to go to school to not pay my student loan back yet. Imagine that.
Btw, whoever decided the price of schoolbooks should be shot, hung, have their toenails ripped out with pliers, their hairs plucked one by one (just annoying), waxed under their armpits, and be made the cell mate of nasty nate. F#*kers. My tuition for my blowoff class is $187, not bad for a community college. However, my libros for the class are $164. that’s just wrong yo. This will however be my last semester to complain of the price of books. Next year I start UNT. For 6 hours, 2 classes, $1600. now I know this is not SMU of UT(hook em horns), but I am also not the child of bill gates. So for the rest of the spring and summer, any extra money will need to go to next fall’s tuition. No more fun for me.

I might be getting back my miata. 91 red. I loved that car. Bought it from my brother, sold it to my sister. I am kinda excited about having it back. I have been looking for bugs and buses lately, but without the cashflow it is only looking. However we are trying to sell the van and that would give me instant cash. Cha-ching!!! How nice right. I can just see pua sitting next to me in a few years, hair blowing around in the wind, bugs in her grill. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Speaking of pua, she is walking around like frankenstein. Not quite confident, and not really in a straight line, but she’s gettin there. she is almost 16 months (next week) and ready to take on the world. What a little hellraiser.

Oh yeah, did you hear that UT beat some team in cali for the national championship?

I once did know a President,Away down South, in Texas. And, always, everywhere he went,He saw the eyes of Texas. The Eyes of Texas are upon you,All the live long day. The Eyes of Texas are upon you,You can not get away. Do not think you can escape themAt night or early in the morn-The Eyes of Texas are upon you'Till Gabriel blows his horn.Sing me a song of Prexy, Of days long since gone by. Again I seem to great him And hear his kind reply. Smiles of gracious welcome Before my memory rise, Again I hear him say to me, "Remember Texas' Eyes."

And of course TAPS

Texas Fight, Texas Fight, And it's goodbye to A&M. Texas Fight, Texas Fight, And we'll put over one more win. Texas Fight, Texas Fight, For it's Texas that we love best. Give 'em hell, Give 'em hell,
Go Horns Go! (YELL) Yea Orange! Yea White! Yea Longhorns! Fight! Fight! Fight! Texas Fight! Texas Fight, Yea Texas Fight! Texas Fight! Texas Fight, Yea Texas Fight! The Eyes of Texas are upon you, All the livelong day. The Eyes of Texas are upon you, You cannot get away. Texas Fight, Texas Fight, For it's Texas that we love best. Give 'em hell, Give 'em hell,
Go Horns Go!
