I'm Going to Disneyworld!

so tomorrow is the big day. the 3 of us hop on a tuna can in the sky and head off to disneyworld. this will be pua's 2nd time on a plane and she is only 10 months old. she is doing so well. it is midnight and i am up burning songs for the ride tomorrow. i am really ready for bed, but i want to get this done tonight. i no work tomorrow at frito-lay anyway. well, i probably won't be putting up anything new for about a week, so all you crazies enjoy life while i am gone. lata.

Calculus is useful

believe it or not, i have been hating calculus all summer. i know, hard to believe, but it is true. however, going into my 3rd test tonight, i am feeling kind positive. not positive that i will make an A, but positive that i am doing my best and knowing this is what i would like to do. i hate to admit it, but there are many uses for the calculus that i have learned. not that i may ever use it in my natural life, but it is there if i needed it. i think that i will try not to let this class stress me out so much in the near future. especially since i am going to disneyworld for vacation while the rest of my class is learning of integrals. i will be studying on the mono, in the airport, in my bed at night, but at least i get to see mickey during the day. so as for tonight, good luck to me, i really need it.

well, here we were at spikefest 2005. needless to say, i was serving pretty well that sunday. must have been the shorts. sporting the Notre Dame logo, and getting some sun up in the nether regions, 2 positives working for me. anyway, sad to say this was the best of the bunch for me. gotta get doni and nancy in photog class.

Spikefest was a blast, but no victory

well, we came, we saw, we sent a lot of people home early. unfortunately, we were not the last ones playing this weekend either. we had a blast though. our weekend started very early, with a construction project. the canopy that was generously 'donated' to us last year did not come with instructions. what a bitch that thing was. we almost posted a position on monster.com for a civil engineer to help us get it put up. needless to say, after a solid hour, four people and some intructions from a canopy 'similar' to ours, the roof was raised. that was so nice. by the time we got to our first game, we were wiped out. however, we stepped it up and won our pool 5-1, winning by points. btw, sorry to the crew from wherever that got beat 30-13. we needed points and you had them to give. anyway, played well. we did some great things and were pushed a bit, but overall we had a lot of fun. i will post up some pics hopefully later on this week. also, thanks to all the poor people that found my block this weekend. my wrist are killing me. peace out.

a perfect angel. this is my baby girl abigail marie kelly, aka pua. pua is hawaiian for flower. she is awesome. if she would only stop growing for a while, that would be pretty cool. anyway, she will be the topic of many posts in the future.

Spikefest this weekend

this weekend is www.spikefest.com. should be fun. last year we were 5th out of @120 teams. we have the same team plus an addition that should help us out quite a bit. also, check out www.smugmug.com for some of last years photos. hopefully he will be out there again this year. good luck bitches!
