merry christmas ya filthy animal

well, it is almost here. hope that everyone is ready. another day of merriment, festivities, presents, and mounds of trash to fill the landfills across the nation.

this will be the 5th weekend in a row that the royal family will be hitting the road. i am sure that the griswalds would be proud of us sticking it out in the family truckster. however, the last few weeks have been leading up to the point where i feel like taking drastic options. either way, stay outta the way yo. and for the trip, gotta make a shopping list, after all, it is a 5 hr drive;

vgod "Get some sour cream and onion chips, and some dip man, and some beef jerky, and some peanut butter. Get some Haggen Daz ice cream bars, a whole lot of Ha..., make sure chocolate, gotta have chocolate man, some popcorn, bread popcorn, graham crackers, graham crackers with marshmallows, the little marshmallows, the little chocolate bars. We'll make some smores man."

pua "Yeah, that's what I'm saying yo?"

vgod "Also celery, grape jelly, uh Captain Crunch with the little crunch berries, pizzas. We need two big pizzas man, with everything on them, with water, a whold lot of water, and funions, yeah."

that woman "Is that all?"

vgod "Yeah."

have a very merry christmas ya filthy animals!!!

bah, humbug

And the Grinch put a hand to his ear. And he did hear a sound rising over the snow. It started in low. Then it started to grow... But the sound wasn't sad! Why, this sound sounded merry! It couldn't be so! But it WAS merry! VERY! He stared down at Who-ville! The Grinch popped his eyes! Then he shook! What he saw was a shocking surprise! Every Who down in Who-ville, the tall and the small, Was singing! Without any presents at all! He HADN'T stopped Christmas from coming! IT CAME! Somehow or other, it came just the same! And the Grinch, with his grinch-feet ice-cold in the snow, Stood puzzling and puzzling: "How could it be so? It came without ribbons! It came without tags! "It came without packages, boxes or bags!" And he puzzled three hours, `till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store." "Maybe Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!" And what happened then...? Well...in Who-ville they say That the Grinch's small heart Grew three sizes that day! And the minute his heart didn't feel quite so tight.

monster garage no hear you!!!

turned on monster garage last night as i was prying open about the 15th hershey kiss in that hour. happened to notice that they were in TEXAS baby!!! they were down in austin at the Texas School for the Deaf. the were doing a rat rod. a 29 body on a 32 frame, chevy 350. just old school hotrod. very cool project for a bunch of highschool kids. get to do a custom car, work with jesse james, be on tv. that's awesome.

till the winds blow like your mama's nose!!

one thing or another-CRAPola!!!

well, pulled one outta the booty in calc II. managed to squeeze out a B. i think the teacher helped me by a few points, like he didn't grade my final. anyway, that stress is now gone.

gotta phone call from that woman indicating that we have received mail stating that my school loans have defaulted and need to be paid. so much for squeaking through college one class at a time. need another course to not pay loan yet. stay at community college, $178 for 4 hr course. go to unt, and pay $793 for a 3 hr course. tough decision there. see how tomorrow's lottery numbers play out 1st. 445% over what i am paying now just to not pay a $100 month loan payment. i think not. highway robbery. either that or i take back the new panties that i bought for that woman. just one more thing to stress out about over the holidays. school or panties??? damnit!!!

plus, after this year, i am boycotting thanksgiving and christmas. no more people. this year has absolutely sucked ass. we have been nonstop for like 5 weeks now, with one more to go. presents for everyone and their freakin primo. that woman and i got into a huge blowup about buying gifts for my family, but for some reason i never brought up the fact that we always buy for everyone in her's family also. 6 people in my family to buy for including significant others, a niece, and a partridge in a pear tree. 12 in her family including significant others, nephews, grandparents. i am studying math right now, but this is no calculus, vector geometry, integral problem here. simple ratios. 12-6, aka 2-1. we buy twice as much for her side as mine. do i complain, hell no. why, i don't give a shit. buy them a present. christmas is the giving time of year. either give, don't give, or give equally. these last 2 months have been enough for me. i would be okay if these 2 holidays didn't exist next year.

so long fo now suckas!!!

glad that's over

what a stress reliever. almost as good as a roll in the hay, but not quite. made it through finals and should find out my grade later this week or next. i must say that i aced the test, and by aced i mean scored just enough to pass. i should study more, but i get so bored of it so quickly. i learned last year that i cannot do online courses. how sweet those are, if you have the discipline, which i clearly do not. i wonder if there is a guinness record for the longest time taken to get a degree? i bet it would not be me, but i feel like it is sometimes. i still hae a ways to go, but at least i am getting there. i am pretty proud of myself. i am the reason that 2 of my coworkers are going back to school this spring, although one is taking 3 classes along with work and family. something tells me she will be dropping at least one if not two. anyway, it was nice to ride to work with no backpack on, no books to lug around. going to the lake this weekend without having to crack a book i paid over $100 for and it is not a collector or rarity.

gotta split

finals tonight

yes, i will say it. holy shit i am glad tonight is finals. i have gotten no sleep this week, not that this is anything new, but at least normally it is doing something other than my homework that was due last month.

just returned from a relaxing trip over to monroe, la. i am really glad that i get along with my in-laws. some people hate their spouses family. there is a running joke that most of them like me more than my spouse. the woman's grandmother nixon is a very kind and affectionate woman. it does not take much to get her going off on a tangent, but this can make for some entertaining conversations. and she makes a mean pot of homemade beef stew. oh, so bueƱo. also was able to visit with suelynn, jerry, michael, katherine, julie, russell, and mckenna. offered once again to buy the truck from jerry and was once again told it was not for sale. one of these times he may say yes, you never know. feel bad for michael and katherine. they lost their place down in new orleans thanks to my niece. more tragicly however was the news that her miata was in a bad way. i think that they mentioned that it would start, however they did say that there was a smell that was never present even when it rained with the top down before. they say the smell is much worse now. poor thing. the miata that is.

going to the the other grandmother's this weekend. this should really be a relaxing weekend. no homework, just chillin'. i hope that there are some chores that need to be done. i sometimes relax so much that i get bored and veg the whole weekend. luckily the christmas lights were put up last weekend. while i really don't mind working on the lights, i get bummed that i don't put up lights at my own casa.

in any case. hasta la vista!

coors factory = free beer!!!

that's right. if you are over 21, free cervesa amigo. and if you are smart, you will bring along a non beer drinker over 21 with you. no sense in letting those go to waste.
here is the family phooning in front of a big brass kettle. you have to see some of the stuff here to understand the amount of hops and barley that goes into this place.
3 free beers for a 45 min tour. just don't get stuck in the gift shop for to long. they make up for the free beer real quick.

this was our gracious tour guide kristin, or jeff or something. anyway, she pours a mean cold one, albeit a bit one the small side, but this was just the 1st sample. they get a little bigger.

she was even nice enough to phoon for us. note the form and the happy look.

did i mention that the breakroom has a tap in it? 2 to be exact. one thing that you will notice as you take the free tour is that all of the employees are very happy and have smiles on their faces. our guide informed us that at the end of a long day, all employees(over 21) are allowed up to 24 oz before they head for home. by the look of some of the employees, they were sampling during the day.

just in case a couple beers is not enough of a kick, or you need a little(lot) more for the ride home, there is this fine extablishment directly across the street(no, not kidding)

all in all, it was a fun trip and enjoyed our 2nd tour of this fine facility. however, i wish they had like a speed pass for those of us just there to drink. how nice would that be?:)
